The Feature Films of Dorenfeld, Tawd b.
Writer/Director Tawd b. Dorenfeld theatrically debuted in 2006 with the honored quintessential anti-suicide film “The Anna Cabrini Chronicles.” Dorenfeld has followed his first feature with a second collaboration with composer Trey Spruance (Secret Chiefs 3), in producing an insightful stop-motion feature “Aylaqruh:hurqalyA” which expands on Dorenfeld’s young drowning death experience leading to 22 years of philosophical agnosticism, and the turmoil of his most recent 3 years of a spiritual rude-awakening; a stripping of denial in a world confused by their own ideologies.
Now as 2009 creeps into existence, Writer/Director Dorenfeld has conceptualized, shot, and canned his third film ‘project’ appropriately titled “Undressed, The Movie” with an approximate running time of 12 hours, credited with the Hebrew G-d as the creator, Dorenfeld as the maker, with a marvelous soundtrack by Timothy Young (Wayne Horowitz Quartet) and a sound mix by Billy Anderson (Fantomas, Melvins, Mr. Bungle)...
These three features mark the beginning of a much greater body of work to come. Check your local video and music stores for Dorenfeld’s work...If they are not yet carrying the collection, please do your town a Mitzvah and make a request.
